Well, recently after playing many PHP text-based browser games I decided to begin work on my own, but I have a problem... I can't code ANY PHP what so ever...

I was wondering if either, A) Someone could make scripts for me to do certain things that I ask for...

Or...

B) Someone takes on a full time job writing the PHP and MySQL etc with their own database for this, and they get all the money earned... I just get to control the admin aspects like banning players, ideas, basically... Running the game itself....

Basically, I need a programmer

Anyway, if you want to know my ideas for the game and such, here are a few.

Which of the current online PHP games will it be most like?

Bootleggers (http://www.bootleggers.us) - Except I would like it to be set in medieval times where you play as a cutpurse working your way up to possibly the owner of a gambling den or tavern.

Will it be turn-based?

Absolutely not! Players need for freedom, and games like Bootleggers offer this, so why shouldn't mine?

What will it be called?

Well, I'm not completely sure here, naming is quite hard

But I think it'll be called either Thieves Guild Online or Cutpurse Online

How will it work?

Players will start off at the lowest ingame rank (Cutpurse) and will move up through the ranks by cutting purses, robbing wagons, mugging civilians, killing other players and robbing large estates until they eventually reach the highest rank (Not sure of a name for this yet)

Unlike bootleggers, where you bought bullets, you will be using weapons like knives and swords... You may wonder, "But how do you sort out kills then, if its just a normal weapon?"... Well, the answer is, you can upgrade your weapon strength, and when you attack someone you choose how much strength to use, so where in bootleggers you'd shoot 4000 bullets, here you'd use 4000 strength, and the strength dissapears from the weapon once its used... So you will need to upgrade its strength again after.

In this, unlike bootleggers, you will be able to own taverns, where other players can buy ale and food, however, ale, food, and money can be stolen from your taverns, so if you don't have much money, and more money is taken from the tavern coffers than you yourself own, then you will have to give up the tavern to make up for the lost money.

Anyway, what does everyone think of my ideas? And can anyone help?
