i must say you guys have some stronf arguments. But i know for sure that when i need to perform updates on a linux server (Not talking about desktops). it takes me more time and the risks for failure because of mismatching lib versions...
I hope you didn't understand me wrong... Not talking trying to tell you linux is bad. it is definitly not the case. bus i think. server (farm) administration goes much more smoothly in the windows servers. but i think that it might be dependant on the person perfomring the task and the nature of it
