Hi everybody, i´m a software developer from Costa Rica willing to help. I'm recently working a lot with PHP due to work issues :P. I´ve been using Zend Development Studio is really good in comparison with other PHP IDE's but it hink there's more to do, (and ideas to get from it) like:
- MySql Integration,
- Intellisense
- CVS/Subversion support
- Navigation through classes (PHP 5)
- etc...
But I´ve worked in Java (My favorite) and the best IDE i´ve have ever known and recommend a lot is IntelliJ IDEA (now version 5) at
www.jetbrains.net. The features it provides including a great CVS/Subversion tool, a lot of plugins that include UML Diagram tools, optimizers, etc is really awsome. Also the GUI is great, easy to use and at the same time with complex and useful tools. I think thats "the model" to follow. The design and the functionality are unbeatable. I will be glad to help in brainstorming, designing, programming, testing, etc. I prefer Java for developing but I can get back to C++. greetings.
PD: Java users, i suggest trying out Intellij IDEA, it will change the way you see Java development.
