Default fulltext search

I'm having some problems with fulltext search. When I search for some things, they show up, others don't.

this works:
SELECT eventID, event, description, startDate, endDate, url
FROM events
WHERE MATCH(event,description,url) AGAINST('huge')
AND isApproved = 1

result:

Halloween party: 2006-10-31 - 2006-10-31
There will be a huge halloween party.

This doesn't work:
SELECT eventID, event, description, startDate, endDate, url
FROM events
WHERE MATCH(event,description,url) AGAINST('halloween')
AND isApproved = 1

As you can see from the one that works, the string "halloween" is right next to the string "huge" in the result set. I have multiple records with "halloween"

When I only had one record with "halloween" in it, it showed up fine. However I have 3 records with "test" in it and 2 of them show up.

Anybody know why?
