New website

Hey Folks,

OK, so I've been working on a new website - not related to PHP, but I'm sure some of you guys might be interested anyway. It's actually about one of my favourite foods...... Pizza :P

Yep, a site dedicated to the good old pizza pies. So far it not huge, but still got some good stuff. There are about 15-20 recipes on there.

I'd be interested to hear what you think, any suggestions?

The new design is great! One question on my mind... why is the rating feature turned off?

Hey Michael,

I assume your are refering to this website (not the pizza on).

Im in the process of moving the comment system over to a dedicated forum post for each Editor. The reason is due to security and maintenance. The current review system has no moderation and some people post nonsense reviews - there has even been a some spammers posting about there gambling websites and worse and rating editors 1/5 - which clearly does not help.

In the new system I can moderate all posts and only approve ones which have some basis.

I want to improve the quality of the site and take away all useless posts like 'not good' or 'it sucks'..... hope you understand.

Im about 30% done - and hope to have the new system fully running by the middle of next week.

I plan on taking all the good quality user reviews over to the new system and giving some of the original stats.

[update: I have decided to keep the review system on the review page - and only use the forum for future comments. So users can still vote as before!! ]
