Default running apache as service on port 81

hi...i have iis installed and want to install apache 2.2 as well. But since iis is taking the port 80, i can't install apache by default on port 80 or atleast it doesn't run.. so i have installed it to run manually on port 8080 by default settings but running it like that is uncomfortable because of dos prompt that keeps showing up when i run it..so is there a way to run apache as a service on port 81 or any other port? or if not is there a way to run apache manually without the dos windows opening....i am new to this.
