Default Apache Prob Please Help

Hello all

Well I have a little prob here I am running Linux Slackware 12.0 and it came with Apache 2.2.4-1486-6 (well I just Upgraded my slackware from ver 10.0) anyway since I upgraded every time I uncomment # Virtual hosts
#Include /etc/httpd/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf I lose all webpages I get a perm error but if I comment it back in my main page comes back up and works fine and then I uncomment the vhost agian and bang kill my whole webserver agian can some one help me with this PLEASE thanks

it eather saya page can not be displayed or it says U do not have perm to view this page and the weird thing is that the main site worked till I used vhost

here is the error I get right when I uncomment vhost and remember befor I did this my main domain /site worked

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

sounds like the apache user doesnt have permission to view wherever the virtual host directives are pointing the incoming request.

ok so what access should I guve the apache user and I know this is A dumb ? but I am haveing a brain fart how do I give the apache user access to it ? thanks for the help so far
