Open Source IDE - We need you!!

It has been over 8 months since I first mentioned this, so here is an update.

I started a thread asking who was interested in starting a project to build a PHP IDE, there was many people interested, some posted in the thread, others contacted me directly. All in all there was some real interested in getting this off the ground.

I've created a new forum for the project members, and also looking for others to join. We are in need of the following:

Software Developers (high)
Experienced PHP Programmers to help with requirements.
Testers.

If you can offer any of the above and want to be part of our Open Source IDE team, please drop me a PM or send me an email (use the contact form on the forums). Please details what you can offer along with brief details of your experience.

I should also mention that if you are a Java Developer and want to help develop a PHP IDE, then you could checkout the PHP Eclipse project as they are always looking for help. Although it has not been decided which language we will use, it is not likely to be Java.


The sooner you get in touch the sooner we can start to work together on this project. I look forward to speaking with you soon
