Hello everybody! Let me give you a brief synopsis of why I am asking this question.
I belong to a clan from the medal of honor game (even at the age of 42 yes I still play games)
The company our server is through, provides web space. I currently had a site up, off my provider, Alltel who only provides 10mb of space free. Our game server provides 500mb.
Here's the question:
After researching Linux on the web and trying to figure our php nuke, I have come to the conclusion php will be a long proccess.
I then decided to put my current (HTML) site on the server, where I can quickly expand it. At least until I figure Nuke out.
Unfortunately, apparently you just can't throw it up?
Most claim the public_html file is where it goes? This is what's in here now:

File Manager

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Click on a folder icon to navigate.
Click on a name to view its properties.

/ public_html / (Current Folder)
Create New Folder
Upload file(s)
Up one level
_private 755
_vti_bin 755
_vti_cnf 755
_vti_log 755
_vti_pvt 750
_vti_txt 755
cgi-bin 755
images 755
Create New File
.htaccess 0 k 644
_vti_inf.html 1 k 644
index.html 6 k 644
postinfo.html 2 k 644
_______________________________________________
However it does not show up online?
ANy suggestions?

Thanks much,

Rick

id check with your hosting company, this isnt going to be something we can easily answer.

The problem is most likely in the httpd.conf file, but i doubt you have access to it.

It looks like it is not recognizing your index.html as the index page. Try changing it to index.htm I would also contact your hosting company to find out what is normal practice for them.
