MySQL Installation Problem - PHP-Editors

Have downloaded and installed MySQL express. Cannot get to the Monitor program to input a script.

Just trying to use the script editor that comes with the free download product from Microsoft. Will be using Excel, Access, and Visual Studio2005 later.
