i'm a newbie and was wondering if phpmyadmin can be used to display a public database? like instead of using the edit and admin features, can it display a database with the grid it comes with - without editing capabilities? i don't know if this makes any sense. do i set up permissions or user levels? thanks for any help.
I dont think so. I have been using it for many many years and I have never seen anything in there that looked like that kind of thing.

No, I have never used IIS or Windows of any kind as a web server. Get a real OS!
