i think that until administration of linux server goes as smoothly as it goes for windows servers the industry will reain with its windows server

That's a very common mistake. People believe that windows is so much easier, but in reality it's easier from the stand point that most everything is GUI based. I personally love the way I can pretty much change anything in linux and do not have to fit in a specific 'window' that Microsoft has given me.
The problem is that most people are in a Microsoft world. If you spend hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars on an MCSE to get a job and that is all you know then you are going to fight 'tooth and nail' to keep your network that way. And there are tons of people out there just like that. Companies that market getting you an IT job in two months, teaching you Microsoft.
Then you have the upper management who know nothing about anything. They have a computer at home with Windows. It works for them and they don't have the first clue or desire to use anything else. Come on, they make so much money that they fall into the whole 'Your computer crashed? It must be time for an upgrade' so they buy a whole new system. I still have Pentium 1s that run linux fine.
So in a way you are right, but it's not a server that linux needs to be easy to manage. It's the common user linux needs to appeal to. Once Linux is more of a household name then it will skyrocket past Windows.
Just my 2 cents.
