Need help with sit ranking script in php

I want to make a script that would collect the ranking of the url i enter from various search engines like google, yahoo etc.
example of what im trying to do can be seen at
http://www.urltrends.com/
or another tool that can do it is
http://www.dummysoftware.com/rankdummy.html

Please give me some advice where to start or where to look.
