You can do it using a mailto command in the action attribute of the form tag.

Or try another language, asp, perl, python etc....

No, I have never used IIS or Windows of any kind as a web server. Get a real OS!

Thank you for your suggestions! I found a site that offers remotely hosted contact forms, www.emailmeform.com . Basically, I paste the html code in my website, and it calls the php script on their server who sends the email.

Default Using mailto form is not any way spam protected.

Using mailto form is not any way spam protected. It i just like giving your e-mail directly to spammers. There are some solutions on the Internet that can help:
40 Secs Contact Form - Website Contact Form generator, simplest to install
It's a php script generator. You don't need to be a programmer to install it. Very easy and effective. And spam protected.
And my favorite is Free Contact Form generator and anti-spam protector - WRASAP (Will Reply As Soon As Possible)
It's free and looks very similar to the previous one. Just like your personal web contact from with spam protection.

You can't use PHP? I can't imagine why that would be, unless you're using a free web hosting service, in which case, they most likely would not allow you access to their SMTP server. So either way... it wouldn't work.

You could try a CGI script. But in your case, I'd suggest a remotely hosted contact form. Just google form hosting.
