Now Im trying to use phpnuke and I dont know how to delete some modules because I dont need it. For example I dont need the FAQ button or the JOURNAL....so how to edit it so that I can only show the modules that I want??

Default php editor

I recommend you to try Codelobster Php edition
(download from:CodeLobster - Handy Code Tools). It's shareware product.
Has handy interface. There are all standard features for work with code.
Highlighting for paired tags and brackets.
Find & Replace dialog, php and html autocomplete , context and dynamic php, Mysql, HTML help.
It's possible to find declarations for defined functions, classes within the project.

Integrated debugger.

That IDE has several versions (I use the latest) and they constantly improves.

I myself am not too familiar with PHPNUKE. I tend to stay away from it. It's, complicated, and all over the place for a CMS system.

However, getting an IDE will not help you, since you have no prior PHP knowledge. So just having an IDE to find and delete code won't do much for you.

I would go comb with the Admin CPanel, and see if there is an activation / de-activation option for modules in there. If not, I'd ask on the PHPNUKE forums for exact details on removing, the specific modules.
