Default Simple RPG

I have been working on a game in my spare time and thought I would post a link here. The name if it is Simple RPG.

www.simplerpg.net

I will be starting the new game very soon so please feel free to sign up and play. Please do leave feed back on what you like and dislike.

There are two versions of Simple RPG I have been working on. Medieval and Future Battle Arenas. Currently medieval is the only game running. The Future game will be up soon.

Simple Medieval Rules:
The first player to 10000 exp wins!
If two players are tied with Experience Points the number of Battle Wins will be the tie breaker.
Once a player has reached 10000 exp the game will halt and everything will be reset. 24 hours before a new game begins you will have an opportunity to change your race and class.

There are two ways to play Simple RPG:
1. Join the Battle and check back every once and awhile to see how your character is doing. (hence the name Simple)
2. Join the Battle and participate in the Battle Arena (one on one) and build your character with weapons and armor.
Both methods are completely acceptable.

Forward:
Simple RPG was designed for roll playing game fans that do not have time to spend hours setting up and playing. If you like to spend hours sitting in front of a computer screen walking your computer generated character around a 3D world Simple RPG is not for you. (Go buy EverQuest or World of Warcraft)

Thumbs up Good Job

Hi Peacekeeper

I'm new to the world of PHP, but having played a fair few online browser games I thought I'd commend you on your work!

Your game, while admittedly still limited in comparison to other online RPG's due to the early developmental stage, is pretty rock-solid in terms of the straight-forward rules and simple interface. I also like the fact that, unlike most browser games, absence does not necessarily have a negative effect upon a player.

I've only been playing the game for a few days, but I'm certainly enjoying logging in on occasion to check how I'm doing, even if I am getting my rear end kicked!

Keep up the good work. If you're looking for assistance (non programming related though - I have much to learn!) let me know.

Thank you very much. We have been in the process of making a lot of changes to the game (Player Map, Auto Clans, Evil Bandits,etc...). There is still a lot of development going on. We are looking for a few graphics and maybe some code. (Need a clock that counts down every 5 minutes using the server clock).

Anyways thank you for playing and let me know if there is anything you would like to see in the game.

More info on what the clock will be used for would be helpful, if you've got some fairly frequent page changing, you could put a call to the time in the header and call a function if that time has passed...

like put time_a in a session variable, and then each time a page loads, compare it to the current time..and take action based on whether 5 minutes has passed or not..
