I've got a new game. I just finished developing. it took about 5 months to get it to the point it's at now. www.ikonquest.com

It's a free online sci-fi strategy game. Based on two other opensource or at least free games, it has plenty of new features I'd call my own.

The player base is practically non-existant due to the fact I'm no advertiser, nor did I try to raise any hype about it before. But feel free to take a look, I'd love your comments, suggestions, complaints or questions. There's even a form that will allow me to collect emails from those who like the game but want to be notified when there are more players.

As of now, the source code is my own. With a game like this, building a player base is hard enough without having multiple versions out on the net. It is likely that sometime in the future, after enough active players are on my site, that I will take on volunteers who are willing to improve upon the game and fix things that need it.

If this is something you would be interested, I'd encourage you to be an active member on ikonquest.com and look for a request for help in the news.
