Question PHP gaming tutorial question

Hey, everyone. I have long wanted to learn PHP, but I can't get it into me enough to make me stick with it and understand it. But when I have a good reason for doing something, I find it easy. I needed a website, so I learned html. I couldn't do enough with my website, so I learned css. I figure I can learn the same way through PHP.

I find creating games to be very fun and interesting. If there is any step by step tutorial that shows me how to make a game I would like to see it. And/or, if there is anyone that is willing to spend a little time with me to send me the code from a game they had made working through from A-Z and explaining what each aspect of the code does I would REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!!

I know you may not care. And it may just seem like a waste of your time, but I would appreciate it oh so much! I want to learn php, but just reading out of a book with no goal set in my head isn't cutting it.

If you have any suggestions or requests of me in return for your help I am open to them! You can send me a Personal Message via this forum or email me. Thanks!!!

yes, making a game and have it running is really fun. having players who appreciate every effort you make to develop the game feels really good too.

but then, making a game takes a lot of time and effort and operating it takes even more.
take your time to learn html, css, php, mysql. it would take you several months before you can actually code something which could be used to make a game.
