Technical Lead (PHP emphasis)

Technical Lead
e-Commerce organization has an immediate need for an experienced Technical Lead. The Technical Lead will be responsible for creating technical specifications and test plans, and review code of other developers. Analyzing software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Working closely with Product Managers, marketing and sales staff to provide technical input for feature specifications.

Job Requirements
- 3-7+ years of software development experience in a web-based business.
- Experience writing in Perl (mod_perl), PHP a/o other scripting languages.
- Experience writing PL/SQL code and database design
- Management experience is a plus.

Basic Qualifications
- Write clean, readable, well-commented, well-documented, modular, extensible, and reusable code for site-wide product features, and the tools to support those features.
- Sustain current site functionality by modifying, enhancing, and improving existing code.
- Develop and direct software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.
- Consult with other departments concerning maintenance and performance of software systems.
