We are seeking an experienced and versatile Junior Software Engineer to develop new technologies and assist in advancing existing products. The ideal candidate is a team player, thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment and can tackle a multitude of projects efficiently and enthusiastically.

Distributive Networks is a privately held wireless content services company. We create and deliver high-retention and high-quality wireless messaging content. We also provide technical and marketing support, as well as turnkey solutions to North American organizations that want to reach consumers via mobile messaging. Founded in January 2004, Distributive Networks is based in Washington, DC.

Day to Day Functions:

• Coding in PHP to develop and maintain proprietary software.
• Translate detailed design into computer software.
• Test, debug and finalize software for distribution to the public.
• Collaborate with team members and associates from other departments in completing assignments.

Job Requirements:

• High level of competency in both PHP4 and PHP5.
• Experience in object oriented programming.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Some experience with administration of Linux and Windows Servers strongly desired.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science
• At least 2-3 years of professional experience
• US Residency
