Help me Obi-Wan (Code Jedi)

We are a health care information and data provider with an innovative data delivery system looking for a PHP/MySQL guru to join our fast-paced creative technical environment. This position will be responsible for creation and maintenance of internal data management tools as well as database design and maintenance.

Must be a self motivator, have good communication skills, be able to work well in a group, and keep on task when working alone. Must also be an excellent problem solver and like to have fun.

Job Responsibilities:
* Design and creation of internal data management tools.
* Maintain and optimize existing databases.
* Take ownership of our data access layer.
* Help admin web and database servers, as well as internal IT infrastructure.

Required Skills/Qualifications:
* PHP (2+ years minimum experience)
* Object oriented design
* MySQL (2+ years minimum experience)
* Database design and optimization
* Javascript
* Linux
* Strong organizational skills
* Listening and collaboration skills
* The ability to work efficiently by meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality

* MySQL server configurations (for scalability and availability)
* PHP frameworks (CakePHP in particular)
