Stuart,

Don't know exactly what to reply, so can you refrase your question, please? BTW, to my mind all future contests should be based on solving problems. To solve those problems is fun and relaxing.

Well - im simply trying to get a wider understanding of what people like coding using PHP.
Personally I enjoy writing anything with a bit of a challenge - this includes puzzles, open source software and business applications. I would love to start writing games in PHP, but have not got the time right now.
My aim is to get more people interested, and maybe start building up an archive that others find useful.

Besides internet/intranet apps, I use PHP to program a lot of command-line tools, mostly for working with comma-separated and fixed-width files. I really enjoy using PHP for command-line tools, and also like anything that's a challenge. I think it would be fun to write games too, and I've kind of been thinking about writing a browser based MUD-style RPG in PHP, or something involving a PHP/Flash combination--especially multi player games. It would also be fun to take a crack at PHP-GTK, although the last time I tried it was still pretty buggy on Win32.
