Can some one tell me the time it is estimated until php 5 is released, and is it going to have and big differences. I want to know if i should get started on 4 and then pick up for or just wait for 5. Thanks!

I don't know exacly when a stable php5 version will be released, but you can download php5 from:

http://snaps.php.net

I use PHP5 for a couple of weeks and I've to say: it's great! To learn about the major differences between version 4 and 5, you'd take a look at:

http://www.phpvolcano.com/articles/php5/

In my opinion the Try-Catch system is most handy new feature...
