I am new to php. I have been working in dreamweaver and I started to work with doing some of my webpages with php. I read about the include command and it would really save me alot of time. Anyways when I type it into the page and I refresh the code everything disappears and I can not edit anything below the included file. I am including an export from Fireworks. Anyways I don't know what it going on so I don't know what to do and I thought that maybe someone could give me a hand to figure this out. I know that someone out there could answer this for me right away. Thanks for your help.

Depending on where your file resides:
Code:
<?
include ("filename.php");
include ("../filename.php");
?>
Unless I missed your question. Hope it helps.
