Postal validation ??

If this can be solved I would be very happy. I run a hosting company and recently found a script to validate the domain (MrWhois pro B) ) that work so well that...

I thought, could you validate a postal address like some other companys do?? They sometimes have a lookup address or validate address button?? :huh:

Anyone seen a script that will do this or know if its possible, one thing I do know is that you will have to contact a server so I am expecting some sort of fee.... :blink:

I apologize. I misunderstood.

Someone I know is doing something similiar, but to verify addresses you would need to have access to a database of addresses that are maintained regularly. I know in the US you can purchase this information, but I believe it only goes through cities and zip codes.

It would be a rather large database as well. You would most likely have to have Oracle to maintain it.

I thought as much. Ah well I guess I will have to trust my customers are who they are!

As I have had a few customers give fake details before luckly I found this out before hosting them!

Well I call this one closed un-less anyone knows of a company which hold that database for you and keep it maintained if you payed them!?
