I'm new to PHP, Java and Tomcat, and I would appreciate if someone could highlight the pros and cons of using PHP versus Java+Tomcat.
For example:
- Which technology is easier to learn?
- Which technology is easier to develop for? Which provides better support for debugging, etc?
- Which technology will make me more productive?
- Is there something one technology supports while the other doesn't
