Hi,

The other day I had a discussion with my English teacher. We have to know the difference between if/when.

If => not sure if it's gonna happen
when => it's gonna happen, but when...

So have a look at this frase:

Listen to me (if/when) I'm talking to you!

To my mind both options a possible...
Am I completely wrong or not? :?

i think that
listen to me when i'm talkin to you is the correct version

theoretically the 'if' version is correct too, but in a very different meaning.
namely, that, in case, that i'm talking to you, you should listen to me!
