Why were I logged out?

Hmm.. I registered as a new forum user, read some, posted some, went to change my settings, changed my signature, and was stuck - i.e. I couldn't find a way to get back to the forum I left to get to settings. So I clicked on PHP Forums in the left-hand menu, and sure - I got there.. But I were no longer logged in.. Just wanted to let you know

not sure what happened - i just edited my sig and the links (just above the forum) PHP-Editors.com -> PHP-Editors... etc - were there (these take you back to the forum). I clicked on the links on the left also and did not need to log back in.
Did you close your browser window after you edited you sig?
