Because I'm so new to php, I need the most basic information. Even before I can start using the tutorial I found, it seems a php editor (I hope that is what is required for my site which does not support CGI Access) needs to be added to my site tools. I am starting with Codelobster's php editor, but I do need to know whether I need only install it only on my system (WINDOWS VISTA) or do I have to upload it to my site tools.

Also, of need is a glossery. Can anyone provide a url to a comprehensive web design glossery, which would include the meaning of some of the many acronyms.
