Nusphere: Php Development Solution for Mac and Linux
NuSphere Brings its
PHP Development Solutions to Mac and Linux Customers through Parallels Partner Program
NuSphere Leverages Parallels to Extend Reach to New Platforms and Customers. NuSphere, a leading provider of PHP development,
debugging, protection and deployment solutions, has joined the Parallels Partner Program’s ISV Initiative to expand its reach into the Mac and Linux markets.
The
Parallels Partner Program provides customized access, tools and resources to Technology, Services and Channel partners that enable them to drive customer acquisition and revenue. The ISV Initiative, of which
NuSphere is a key member, is a component designed to allow Windows-only software vendors to quickly and easily extend their reach to the fast growing Mac and Linux markets. The Initiative offers software vendors streamlined application compatibility testing, technical support, sales support and co-marketing opportunities.
Via the ISV Initiative, NuSphere will make its flagship product, PhpED, which is an award-winning PHP Integrated Development Environment (PHP IDE) favored for its power, speed, ease of use, exceptional
PHP debugging capabilities, and fully configurable user interface, available to the Mac and Linux communities through use of Parallels desktop virtualization products, which include Parallels Desktop 3.0 for Mac and Parallels Workstation 2.2 for Windows and Linux.
"By certifying our products with Parallels, our Mac and Linux customers will be able to leverage the full capabilities of
PhpED and our suite of
PHP development tools which were previously only available for the Windows platform," said Dmitri Dmitrienko, vice president of engineering, NuSphere. "We're impressed with the strength of the Parallels virtual machine technology and are confident that our customers will have a great user experience. This partnership opens up significant new markets for both companies and new options for our customers."
"NuSphere is a great example of the opportunity available to those participating in the Parallels Partner Program" said Bryan Goode, Director of Business Development, Parallels. "We've had good industry participation since launching our ISV Initiative and with NuSphere added, we expect even more developers and users to realize the benefits of desktop virtualization." NuSphere’s product
PhpExpress is also now available on the Parallels Virtual Appliance Directory, a popular resource for ISVs to promote and redistribute applications that have been tested for compatibility in Parallels labs.
